Honestly I don't know waht kind of star to give it. I kind of wished I waited until it came onto video. So, first one was okay. Saw it with my moms and sister and they seemed to like it. I just thought it was okay.

This one I almost didn't watch but had a couple of hours to waste so went to see it. It was more of the same. Less funny moments than the original for me, but there were some cute moments and lol moments.

Didn't like how it began (a sort of flashback, but wasn't necessary). One review said they kept waiting for the movie to actually start (which is what I felt). All actors were good. Having the Maori kid in the movie was great.

but he was the same character from "Hunt for the Wilderpeople". Which isn't necessarily a bad thing but felt like treading old ground. Domino was fun and would like to see more of her. A lot of in-jokes for the nerds.

Cheapshot jokes too. There wasn't a proper Stan Lee cameo so that was a bummer. Also, not an aftercredit sequence just a midcredit one (which was actually fun and entertaining). I still want to see Fabian Nicieza, Rob Liefeld and Stan Lee in a deadpool cameo commenting on him being a moron and stan lee says, Don't look at me, I didn't create this guy.

If you like the original, you'll probably like this one. So watch it if you like it, avoid it if you don't. If you're on the defense, wait for it to come on TV. Now for spoiler stuff: I think my main problem is that it opens with a major tragedy, which lessened the impact of the jokes, because he's supposed to be all depressed and shit, yet he still acts corny.

The death of a major character took away the heart of the story for me. I liked the actress and I liked her character. Considering the fact that Marvel is terrible with its female characters, she was one I actually liked.

So, killing her took it away. As a matter of fact, I thought she was going to become Mrs. Deadpool. But the other femaile characters are still nice and Domino was a welcomed new face. Cable took too long to show up.

I thought it was going to be quicker. It also had a good diversity of cast. TJ Miller wasn't that funny. Some of the jokes were retreats and some of the plotlines were not that great. The scene where Deadpool dies at the end was too much, because, all they had to do was take off the collar, instead of having Cable waste his time travel for something that they can easily fix.

MONDAY MORNING FILMMAKER: The movie went into a different direction than I thought. Since there was time traveling I thought they were going to go back and save vanessa (which they kind of did but as a throwaway gag).

I thought the storyline should have been vanessa and deadpool have a kid and he is a superbaby, but similar plotline with the Maori kid and Cable comes back to kill Deadpool's kid. Hilarity ensues.

The time when deadpool dies, I thought that Cable was going to learn when Vanessa died, set his watch to go back to that time period and Cable save Vanessa from dying. Deadpool gets another chance to go to Fire Fist, and this time helps him and not turn him into a bad guy.

There needed to be an aftercredit sequence. It should be Deadpool meeting Hugh Jackman, trying to make a deal with getting him in the movie as Wolverine, finally Deadpool tells him, "and it's going to be a musical".

Hugh Jackman is now interested. Or something like that.
