Review of Deadfall (2012) by Tez555 — 11 May 2020
Near the beginning of the film I said to my wife "this is most people's fantasy isn't it? If you're a man, it's having Olivia Wilde fall into your arms. Or if you're a lady it's being rescued by Charlie Hunam" and she agreed. Not that that has much to do with the review, just an observation.
From Hulk to Whistler from Blade to Sue Storm all the cast are great. Olivia Wilde and Sissy Spacek stand out for me. Olivia is easily one of this generations most underated (and ridiculously pretty) actresses, I've never seen her give a bad performance. Even in not so great films (Cowboys & Aliens spring to mind) she's so watchable.
Anyway, the actual film... Good, that's all there is really. It's just good, the definition of a 7/10 I think.
