Review of Dead Snow (2009) by Daniel G — 29 Oct 2010
While the Nazi Zombies were evil, intelligent, and coordinated in a way that is new to the zombie genre, I was ultimately underwhelmed. This plays very much like your traditional teen scream flick and contains none of the commentary on the human condition that has become the hallmark of the genre.
The film also has one of the latest horror tropes I love to hate: the film geek all too aware that he is in a horror film.
