Review of Dead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead (2014) by John P — 26 Dec 2014
Not everyone is bound to know this, but in the last year and a half I've reduced my viewing of horror films by at least 98%. That said, I'll still go out of my way to watch certain horror films if they sound interesting.
Such is the case with Dead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead. I had read somewhere that this was way more over the top than the first film, so I was intrigued. That it is, but never in a way that offends me. The over the top gore and humour made this more enjoyable for me than the first Dead Snow movie.
Whereas in the original it seemingly took forever for anything to happen, this one picks right up where the last one left off. The pacing of the story is actually quite good, no real boring parts to be had.
If you're looking for something very bloody and gory, and even kind of goofy funny, then you should enjoy this.
