Review of Dead Ringers (1988) by Burton D — 18 Jan 2011
The synergy between crew and actors has never been better in a Cronenberg picture. Jeremy Irons' nuanced performance fully creates the illusion there are two distinct characters flawlessly. Cronenberg says this is NOT a horror film, but the internal anguish is more brutal than anything a mutant surgical tool could cleave.
