What appears to be a standard heist film is so much more. The movie focuses on the lives of several high school students who are forced to go to vietnam only to come home to no jobs and no hope. so the former marine joins up with a former crime boss to pull of a heist of an armored truck carrying some old money.
dead presidents is excellent and very intense the mood of the film brilliantly depicts the worse scenario of those veterans coming home. it's very real and perhaps because it's not so far from the truth.
