Review of Dead Poets Society (1989) by Benjamin N — 04 Dec 2011
Has alot of the feel good hollywood aspect to it. But it's a great film. Certain movies out there don't break any barriers or blow your mind in some new fascinating way. But they are well crafted and instill a solid message.
This movie is a prime example. Peter Weir is the king of these types of movies. Any fan of literature or of professors that have made an impact on you (which is a rarity) will love this. It's totally a pg grade ten movie, like Rudy or something like that.
And I can see why people would be bored by this. I was not, in fact I was enthralled. Carpe Dieme!
