Review of Dead Poets Society (1989) by Jimmy M — 27 Dec 2012
1950's new wave poetry teacher comes in and shakes up the lives of his prep school students. The students' performances are almost all spectacular, it's a bit hard to shake the Robin Williams persona from his character.
Though the plot of the film is fairly cliche at this point the young actors play it with such conviction that it's hard not to be moved.
