Review of Dead Poets Society (1989) by Patrick K — 11 Aug 2014
Set in a 1950s school with old values which get challenged when John Keating (Robin Williams) brings a new different and unconventional teaching style to the school. Keating teaches his students to seize what they desire but when an unexpected death occurs he gets fired but is still supported by a large portion of the students who's lives hes touched with his method.
This is a brilliant film and just shows that Robin Williams is every bit as good as a straight up actor as he is a madcap comedian.
