A group of ghost hunting documentarians spend the night in a haunted building, and get killed off one by one. The police review the footage that they shot in hopes of figuring out who did it, and why.
The answers come, but to be honest it doesn't really matter. Dead of the Nite is boring and involving. The characters are just sort of there. The killer has an interesting motive, which was rather surprising considering the narrative.
Tony Todd hams it up and steals every scene he is in, but sadly he couldn't save this one.
