Review of Dead of the Nite (2013) by Bryan D — 29 Apr 2016
Another found footage movie starts off promisingly with horror legend Tony Todd but then goes straight downhill. The problem with this sub-genre of the found footage genre, ghost hunting, is that it needs to have some solid ground.
By that I mean these people, who are seemingly professionals, who have done this many times before, never seem to have a clue about what they are doing. It's impossible to believe they ever once managed to pull off a successful show given how stupid they are.
Otherwise, the kills are ordinary, the acting worse than usual and mostly bloodless.
