Review of Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid (1982) by Stuart J. P — 30 Nov 2008
A homage to the old Black and White noirs of the 40's and 50's. Steve Martin is cut into old movies alongside the likes Humphrey Bogart, Ava Gardner, Bette Davis, Cary Grant and many more... While still retaining some sort of plot of it's own.
It's very clever... and also very silly, in only the way Steve Martin can be. Loved it.
