Review of Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid (1982) by Ethan A — 24 Feb 2013
Hey ... let's watch an okay idea driven into the ground over the course of an hour and a half! This is a great idea for a sketch. Unfortunately, it's a feature film. It's definitely fun to spot where the clips come from, especially if you're a film buff.
After a while though, the awkward way that they're integrated starts to get on my nerves. Worst of all, the film just isn't very funny. The idea of parodying film noir and using clips from old films seems to have taken precedence over writing actual jokes that work.
