Review of Dead Man's Shoes (2004) by Matt C — 12 Sep 2012
An interesting film to return to once you know how the plot will unfold. On second viewing it's Considine's performance and Meadow's refusal to force the viewer to side with anyone that is the success of the film.
The only weakness is that we don't quite have the easy balance between whimsy and drama that have worked in most of his other work.
