When someone asks me what my favourite movie is, I usually respond with one of three answers, depending on my mood. It's either Amadeus, 2001; Space Odysey, or Dead Man Walking. This film proves that Sean Penn is the greatest actor alive.
There is no preaching or bias in this story, just absolute honesty. All the victims are laid before us, and it is up to us to decide which side we'll take in the act of capital punishment. If anyone wants to learn to how write characters in a screenplay that are 100% true to themselves, watch this movie.
