Wow. A very powerful drama that tackles capital punishment and redemption. Susan Sarandon's talks with Sean Penn put me on the edge of my seat. Brilliant acting, powerful story, culturally relevant.
While the movie may not convince all that "killin' is wrong, no matter who does it, whether it's me or y'all or your government," it certainly illustrates that anyone can be redeemed.
