Sincerely touching movie. Wonderfully acted and written.
Shows how normal people can turn into a bunch of blood-crazed cunts when they lose the one they love the most. Goes to some interesting places with the death penalty issue.
Funny thing is, at the end, when they do show what happened, you don't treat Sean Penn's character like a killer, but still like just a confused human being.
