Review of Dead Man Walking (1995) by Jimmy M — 04 Mar 2013
Tim Robbins directs the true story of a nun who comforts a man on death row. It's not a cut and dry story of good vs evil or pro/anticapital punishment. The film forces you two empathize with both Penn and the families who lost loved ones.
An incredibly moving film with two great performers at the top of their game.(Sarandon won an oscar, Penn was nominated).
