Review of Dead Like Me: Life After Death (2009) by Natalie Z — 05 May 2009
This film is a shadow of the TV show it's based on. No Rube and they had to replace Daisy (which is kind of funny because Daisy was already thrown in as a replacement character to begin with) Basically stuffy old anti-technology Rube leaves and is replaced by a new guy who's all into cell phones and texting and is of course therefore evil. And so of course this makes all the reapers start being evil and selfish, because technology is evil. Right? Right?
It feels like all the actors had been out of practice with their characters for too long, but I did love getting more Mason and Dolores Herbig funny moments and the film had it's moments.
