Review of Dead Like Me: Life After Death (2009) by Hazel A — 06 Mar 2011
Although it was nice to see most of the original cast return, the story was so sub-par, I'd rather they had NOT done this movie at all. Patinkin's Rube was sorely missed, and the actress replacement of Daisy was just a bad idea--I'd rather they explain she was reassigned to another group and introduce a new character.
It also seemed like they glossed over the repercussions of all the Reapers' bad behavior. Yes they tried to show the repercussions, but it all felt so rushed. And Cameron, really? I think TPTB should have handled him, and set an example in the process.
This project should have been nixed. It didn't do the show any justice whatsoever.
