Review of Dead Like Me: Life After Death (2009) by Andrew K — 31 Aug 2009
I adore the TV series, which made this direct-to-video follow-up all the more disappointing. No Mandy Patinkin, no Laura Harris ... not that it would have mattered ... the supporting cast is given nothing to do.
There isn't even a real story here. It's like the screenwriters had enough material for a 45 minute episode and stretched it to 90. Henry Ian Cusick's Cameron Kane existed mostly to be annoying and disappear for long stretches.
Interesting to see some of these characters again but what a waste.
