I could see how someone not familiar with the TV series would be unimpressed and confused. As an extended final episode it was moderately good at tying up loose ends and mixing black comedy with a little wisdom.
Really missed Mandy Patinkin. The woman who played Daisy was entirely forgettable; especially when compared to Laura Harris.
