Review of Dead Calm (1989) by Brad G — 26 Oct 2009
High Drama/Scares at sea as grieving parents Sam Neil and Nicole Kidman are terrorized by the psychotic and smiley Billy Zane. I love Sam Neilâ??s navy husband struggling to get from one boat to the other.
It might seem odd, but his determination is as exciting as the physical battles brewing on the other boat. And I love love love the original curly haired Sheila version of Nicole Kidman that goes mano a mano with diabolically scary Zane.
A really great isolation film filled with lots of nerves and tension. VF.
