Review of Dead and Buried (2006) by Alex D — 13 Oct 2007
Smart and very atmospheric horror film is one of the best of the 80's, but too often over-looked. Though this moody thriller has some rather bloody violence, it plays out with true intellegence - almost like an episode of the Twilight Zone.
The cast is excellent - Farentino is especially great and Albertson is wonderfully creepy. Shockingly good makeup work and a splendidly moody music score add all the more to this superior midnight movie.
