Review of De-Lovely (2004) by Rebecca H — 02 Nov 2008
Scoring a hat trick, this is boring, tedious and dull! It sets up a relationship between the gay Cole Porter and his wife Linda Lee Porter, this being the point and plot of the film but it doesn't explain the relationship.
It's as if the makers didn't know what was going on between Cole and his wife and they didn't want to guess or make it up - so why did they bother making a film about it?
