Review of Dazed and Confused (1993) by Brent C — 04 Jun 2011
One of my all time favorites, just watched it again. It's one of those movies that I can't help but watch whenever I see it's on. I'd estimate that I've seen it at least a dozen times.
It's pretty much a perfect movie for what it's meant to be. It tells the story of a day in the life of a bunch of teens on the last day of school in 1976 Austin, Texas. I think it not only perfectly encapsulates this time, but does it in a way that speaks to many about being this age and how it felt.
An amazing ensemble cast, smartly written and directed with a great soundtrack.
