A good movie that isn't dependent on 70s nostalgia. It's a great coming of age story filled with humor and anguish. Each character is as vibrant and colorful as the decade it takes place in and the actors portray 70s teens so well that this movie is like a time machine. The music is excellent, which comes as no surprise since it happens to be 1976 in this movie. A great year for some of the most memorable 70s songs!
