Review of Dazed and Confused (1993) by Bill B — 30 Jan 2013
Gave this one a re-watch on Criterion DVD (coincidentally just in time for the Goddamned Criterion Blu-ray release to be announced; don't get me started on that) and I have to say that I still love this film as much as I did the first time I rented it with friends on VHS.
A fun snapshot of a time I never knew and filled with slacker teens after drugs, beer and some fleeting moments of sex in the late '70s, you just get a great vibe off this movie from start to finish. Bored small town Texas has never been more charming.
Still well worth a look and recommended.
