Review of Dazed and Confused (1993) by Charles W. Q — 20 Sep 2013
Directed by Richard Lnklater, Dazed And Confused is a funny stoner teen comedy that' basically focuses on the last day of high school for seniors on 1976 and what Dazed And Confused really achieves on is that it doesn't try to be too modernized by like having anythings present day(like what they would've had in 1993 the year when the movie was released) especially it's soundtrack, the cars, and the style of the film.
,and of course just like what these films should have is typical characters that are in the class such as the stoners played by Rory Cochrane and Milia Jovoich, the bitch played by Parker Posey, the senior who fails a grade played by Ben Affleck(yes that Ben Affleck) betting the crap out of upcoming freshmen with paddles which was what the seniors did to the upcoming freshmen like the guys would beat the guys with a paddle and the girls would cover the girls with what had appeared to be powder and other stuff and put pacifiers on them, and there are many others too in Dazed And Confused that I could add but anyway, back to what I think of the movie?Dazed And Confused is a funny film that focuses on what it is since it's setting is in the 70's and doesn't lose me from the movie.
