Review of Dazed and Confused (1993) by Chillindylan G — 04 Feb 2015
Richard Linklater's first commercial film is less experimental than his breakthrough Slacker but it certainly has more widespread appeal. Featuring an attractive ensemble of young actors, many of which went on to be Oscar-winners and Hollywood A-listers, Dazed and Confused serves as a day in the life for a group of suburban stoners and party animals growing up in the 70s celebrating the first day of summer.
Whether you remember this era or not, Dazed is a classic teen comedy that may not be Linklater's best film but certainly one of his most fun.
