Review of Days of Heaven (1978) by Bert T — 14 Nov 2007
Cinematographically one of the most impressive feats ever. Most of the film was filmed during de first 20' of dusk when there's no shadows but it's still quite light. Took ages. But what a brilliant epic pastoral images.
Not man in wild nature, but man in an expanding cultivated world. Though the offscreen doesn't work as well as in Badlands.
