Review of Days of Heaven (1978) by David B — 16 Mar 2009
Visually stunning, Days of Heaven is Terrence Malick's masterpiece, full of breathtaking sceanery and muted performances. Malick's visual style is in full force, shooting many scenes during the "magic hour", creating a feeling of pervading dusk that entrances you throughout the picture.
A must for fans of overtly visual cinema.
