An incredibly powerful story, depicting the often-forgotten struggle of North African recruits fighting for both the French army and equality within said army during WWII. I'm reluctant in comparing "Indigenes" to American war movies, although I definitely got "Saving Private Ryan" and "Glory" vibes from it.
