Absolutely amazing film, and one that left me disgusted at the end - with the information about the witheld pensions for the Algerian/Moroccan soldiers. Superbly acted and a film with a real point, not just a tale from the past with no bearing on the here and now - the events back then and the way these soldiers were treated still resonates today.
Apart from the 4 main characters I also thought the guy who played Sgt Martinez was superb. Much more worthy than Pvt Ryan and a far better film than Glory which is also mentionned in other reviews.
