Review of Days of Glory (2006) by Lorenzo V — 24 May 2009
This was definitely a film that was needed to be made and a story that needed to be told. Living in a colony myself, I understand how it feels when your help in a war goes unnoticed and unappreciated. The story is slow moving and although there aren't many actual all out battles, I think it succeeds in showing the hypocrisy of the countries fighting in it.
They had the same prejudices when it came to race as the man they were trying to destroy. Obviously not going as far as Hitler.
