Review of Days of Glory (2006) by Kyo 9 — 08 Aug 2011
A good story that hasn't really been told but "Indigenes" suffers from WWII movie fatigue. There are many movies (namely "Saving Private Ryan") that are superior films. A new angle on the big second war is the troops from North Africa who fought against Germany to liberate France.
They fought discrimination in the ranks and even after the war, still did without proper recompense. Definitely a decent war film, but not earth shattering.
