Review of Daylight's End (2016) by Dylan H — 29 Sep 2016
Fantastic, post-apocalyptic, zombie flick! There is a fantastic eye for the handling of firearms, and a great approach to showing the combat tactics of the survivors. The main hero (played by Johnny Strong) did an amazing job in the starring role as 'Rourke' who is great at playing the strong, silent type.
This hero, however, makes a lot of mistakes (just like people do in real life), and its great to see how nobody is perfect in this zombie hell-hole. I wanted to see more of Rourke's Plymouth Roadrunner, but I'll content with myself by hoping for a sequel.
The movie's only real drawback is its smaller budget compared to Hollywood's blockbusters.
