Review of Daylight (1996) by Russell G — 20 Dec 2011
This is an exciting claustrophobic escape movie with plenty of action. The Lincoln Tunnel becomes blocked at ends trapping people in the tunnel. Flooding, fires, criminals, injured civilizations, and a lack of oxygen make for plenty of exciting conditions as these people try to reach safety.
Stallon does a very nice job in the role of the reluctant hero. Some parts do feel recycled but it works well and gets past that with intense action, nice visuals, and a fast pace.
