Review of Daybreakers (2010) by Ali W — 09 Sep 2012
An ok addition to the vampire genre. This. splices together equal parts of '28 Days Later' with 'Gattaca' to give an interesting tale of a futureworld where vampires are the norm with a minority of humans running and hiding from the nefarious Sam Neill as the arch villain.
there's some nice performances from Ethan Hawke and Willem Dafoe but the rest of the film lacks a strong story. although there is a genuinely original (and gruesome) finale.
