Review of Day Watch (2006) by Ws W — 25 May 2008
I wanted to give 2 stars or even less. The plot is really loose, losing all its coolness in the last episode. The production team is too greedy to put in so many unnecessary substances- Mongolians, Russian triads, an angered juvenile boy from a broken family & the father-son relationships, a few love relationships, car chasing, even some sexes/bodies changes plus girl-girl sex gag(!).
.. and a hip-hop outfit(!!). I saw a lot traces of [X-Men], [Matrix] series inside. Certain editing would definitely help. Fortunately enough- the impressive final scene save it all.
