Review of Day Watch (2006) by Feroze A — 31 May 2008
Nightwatch introduced great ideas but didn't have the time to expand on them, this redux kicks the doors off with expanded ideas and an expanded universe . The central characters are well drawn, and the family sentiment is poignant, a father lost to his predicament, and a son lost to Satan.
The film is awesome in the truest sense of the word. The visuals mirror the epic sentiment in every way. One of the most imaginative and most incredible films of all time.
