Review of Day of the Woman (1978) by Charles M — 22 Nov 2007
Although tame to my tastes, it's the only movie of its kind that I've seen. Buster Keaton's grand niece? I suppose he'd be proud. Well scripted, and the rape scenes were well acted. Most gratifying moment? Matthew the horribly portrayed retard is hanged.
Entertaining for those with a shock taste, but pale in comparison to most other films.
