Review of Day of the Woman (1978) by Private U — 01 Sep 2009
I was expecting a lot from this film due to it's reputation and it's comparative reputation to Last House on the Left. Sadly it was not as shocking or well made as Last House on the Left. The ending wasn't as good, the story wasn't as good and so on. This was quite a shocking film and held my attention but missed out on a bit of emotion that was required to really make you hate yourself for watching it. For extreme cinema fans only.
In one word: Disappointing.
