Review of Day of the Woman (1978) by Walter C — 18 Jan 2010
A young writer from New York decides that she wants to write her first novel in a house she rented out in the country. She catches the eye of four local guys who decide to rape her. A few weeks later she decides to take revenge.
That's the plot of this famous exploitation film. The rape scenes are hard to watch (which is the point) and the revenge she takes on the guys is gruesome. Camille Keaton does a good job acting in it and I didn't find the movie dumb although it is hard to watch and sit through.
