Review of Day for Night (1973) by Tom B — 22 Jul 2009
A film where you end up sad to say goodbye to the cast as they are to each other at the end of shooting. Jacqueline Bissett in interview says Truffaut let actors live on film. A lovely thought. I love this film and everyone in it.
Along with humor and story, it's a glimpse of how films used to be made, and the truth that there is meaning going on behind the camera as well as on the screen.
