Probably one of five remakes I enjoyed out of 28+ lol. I was a huge fan of the original romero movie, fast zombies are where its at. 28 days (not a zombie movie but obvious rip off) and dawn remake get it right correctly. Zombies arent that scary for me when you can outrun them.
Romero needs to graduate to fast zombies and make zombiemovies hip again instead of straight to dvd releases. The only thing I didnt like wich I thought was over the top was the baby zombie scene. otherwise decent zombie movie and suprising like. Id recommend this, John Carpenters The Thing (probably the greatest remake ever made), The Fly with jeff goldbloom and Fright Night remake for remakes worth checking out.
