Review of Daughters of Darkness (1971) by D M — 03 Sep 2009
Elizabeth Bathory is alive and well and vacationing in modern-day (well at the time it was filmed) Belgium. The only other guests of the hotel she is staying at with her girlfriend are newlyweds. Countess Bathory is a predatory lesbian vampire who uses her charm, wit and guile in order to bed the resistant young wife.
Meanwhile, the police are investigating a series of murders of beautiful young girls. Really boring and drawn out, typical 70's horror that I guess I just don't appreciate.
