Review of Date Night (2010) by Adam F — 16 Jun 2012
A classic tale of two great improvisers running through a pretty ordinary script and making it a pretty funny movie. In the end, the chemistry of Fey and Carell is what brings this movie together as they go on an adventure of mistaken identity through the streets of New York City.
Saying that, with improvisation it is always hit and miss. It can make you laugh and make you cringe. Thus making it a hilarious experience in places and in others a "what the hell was that".
This movie is full of both experiences. It just depends on your sense of humor.
