THE BEST Warfilm ever.
Unfortunately recently underwent the typical "George Lucas" Syndrom of generating a so called "Directors Cut".
With apparently new material and new sounds, but cut down in it's length of nearly 1 and a half hour just to press it into Cinema.
... what a cruelty.
Otherwhise best War Movie!
(Everyone however should be advised to watch the german original in 4 parts! and no other Version).
