Great kids movie but it is more than that and has great ideas about machine versus human beings. Barret Oliver who played Bastian in The Neverending Story was great and the supporting class did a fine job. The movie was very heartwarming but got serious at times at well. I enjoyed the movie a lot.
Interesting sidenotes the director also directed the classic Free Willy and the cartoon Incredible Hulk was show and Barret Oliver was in an episode of the live action TV series The Incredible Hulk.
